Nina Jiani Lu

Nina is a character animator and a 3D generalist who comes from Shanghai, China, and currently resides in New Jersey City. She graduated from Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts with a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative 3D Animation. Currently, she is obtaining her Master’s Degree in Computer Arts at School of Visual Arts. Nina grew up watching all kinds of animation which influenced her to become an animator. Nina is now concentrating on her collaborative thesis film called “Blind?”, which follows a dumb thief trying to rob a granny. This film is presented as a black humor story filled with lots of funny actions, which showcase Nina’s animation style.
